Štajerski Inženiring Joins Tehnološki park Velenje – TecHub Project as Supervision Partner

About the project

Technology Park Velenje – TecHub will be a modern facility with a gross area of ​​7,200 m², which will be located in the Stara vas Economic and Business Zone. The Municipality of Velenje will build 5,788 m², and the Institute of Chemistry will build 1,400 m², where they will establish a research unit for biomass biorefining. The project includes six technological cells with offices for the first production and test processes, a Smart Media Lab for product launch, a modern conference hall and premises for innovative companies. It is crucial that we also offer production cells to young innovative companies, as these enable the development of new business models and attractive jobs for young talents.

Our role

As a consulting engineer and construction supervisor, Štajerski inženiring will provide professional monitoring of the project implementation, with an emphasis on quality, safety and timeliness of implementation. Our team will work closely with all partners to ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the highest standards.

Importance for the region

The project is estimated at 15.4 million euros, of which 14.2 million euros are provided from European funds. It is planned to create at least 75 new jobs by 2030. The technology park will significantly contribute to the economic development of the Šaleška Valley and the strengthening of entrepreneurship in the region.
