The project “Adaptation of Facilities for the Purpose of the UKC Maribor Nursing Hospital” has been successfully completed, representing an important contribution to Slovenia’s healthcare infrastructure.
The official opening was attended by Prime Minister Robert Golob, Minister of Health Valentina Prevolnik Rupel, and the Director of UKC Maribor Vojko Flis.
The facility is located at Slivniško Pohorje, within the renovated premises of the former Department of Pulmonary Diseases. It will provide extended care for patients and significantly relieve existing hospital capacities.
The project was commissioned by the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Health, and co-financed with European funds, with a total value of approximately €19 million.
Štajerski inženiring provided professional construction and investment supervision. The works were carried out under the protection of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, requiring careful preservation of the historic façade, stone elements, and frescoes.
Our team ensured high-quality execution, full technical compliance, and effective coordination of all stakeholders throughout all phases of the project – from construction to final handover.
The successful completion of the project reflects our commitment to excellence, reliability, and the delivery of complex engineering projects.
