We combine professional expertise and innovative solutions to successfully deliver projects in industry, energy, logistics, and other sectors.

Where or how did you get the idea for your company?

The idea for the company emerged 22 years ago, when my father left a management position in one of the region’s largest construction companies and felt the need to pursue his own entrepreneurial path. He created a company with a long-term vision based on professionalism, stability, and a personal approach to clients—principles we still uphold today.

What are your company’s goals and vision for 2030?

Our vision is continuous development—not only in economic terms, but also in the development of our services. We believe in Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of small improvements. We focus on implementing new technologies and achieving excellence in integrated investment engineering. By 2030, our goal is to become one of the leading companies in Slovenia and beyond in the field of construction investment engineering, recognised for professionalism, innovation, creativity, and the satisfaction of our clients and our entire team.

Why did you become a member of the SBC—Slovenian Business Club?

We decided to join the SBC because we recognised the great potential of such a club. We believe in synergies, in connecting with successful entrepreneurs, and in an environment environment that encourages entrepreneurship and progress. The SBC enables us to exchange experiences, collaborate, and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Slovenia.

Could you describe an entrepreneurial mistake that taught you the most?

The entrepreneurial mistake I learned the most from was that, for personal reasons and out of empathy, I sometimes held on to certain subjective decisions for too long. Often, you need to make decisions that are not easy and that those around you may find difficult to understand. I have learnt that sometimes you have to “fail fast & fail forward”.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs who want to embark on a similar journey?

Surround yourself with people who give you energy and motivation, and who believe in you. We like to say that a person is the sum of the five people they spend the most time with—so choosing the right circle is crucial. Above all, believe in yourself even when others see you as strange or different—that is the right path.

Which achievement in your company are you most proud of?

I am very proud of our more than 20- year history and of the projects we have completed, through which we have developed a recognisable brand and built a stable company. I must not forget our entire team—our experts, engineers, and architects. Equally important is the drive and energy with which we create projects. Our employees stay with us, and we are seen as a good and desirable employer—people want to work for us. The number of inquiries and orders is growing, which is also reflected in economic indicators— the best measure of our performance.

What has brought you the most satisfaction in running your company?

The greatest satisfaction comes from satisfied clients and employees, and from the diversity of projects we have the opportunity to work on. I am happy when I see that the buildings and projects we have developed with many partners leave a lasting value in our space and society.

What has been the biggest challenge in your entrepreneurial career?

The most demanding but at the same time very positive experience was the transfer of the company from one generation to the next—from my father to me and my sister, with whom I now run the company. The challenge was how to preserve past achievements while successfully innovating the company for the future. I believe we are a good example of that practice: My sister and I work together in excellent harmony, while our father remains an important member, especially in a mentoring role. I am convinced we have managed to combine youthful drive and energy with experience and knowledge.
