Štajerski Inženiring d.o.o. is inviting a Head of the Electrical Engineering Department (m/f) to join our team.
We are looking for a professional, responsible, and ambitious individual who will take on a key role in leading electrical engineering projects, developing the department, and contributing to high-quality and sustainable engineering solutions.
What we expect from the Head of the Electrical Engineering department?
Education:
Minimum Level VI/II degree in Electrical Engineering
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum Level VI/II degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Electrical Engineer status with IZS (mandatory requirement)
Previous experience and references are not required
Good knowledge of legislation, technical standards, and regulations
Experience in project or team management is an advantage
High level of independence and responsibility
Precision, reliability, and professional integrity
Strong decision-making skills and accountability
Willingness for long-term cooperation and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Electrical Engineering Department (work organization, task allocation, supervision of execution)
Independent design of electrical installations and electrical systems
Performing professional supervision of electrical projects
Ensuring project compliance with legislation, technical regulations, and standards
Signing project documentation as a Licensed Electrical Engineer (IZS)
Cooperation with other departments (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management)
Communication with clients, investors, and external stakeholders
Review and approval of project documentation
Active participation in department development and process optimization
Mentoring and professional support for team members
